Tammy L. Pargoud was born and raised in Louisville, KY and is an accomplished Marketing and Advertising Specialist with over 10 years of experience in Public Relations. In addition to her business experience, in 2016 she received her degree in Social Psychology. Tammy is a resident of Terrell, TX and is committed to serving and advocating for children who have been abused and/or neglected and families in crisis within her community.
Tammy’s Ministry Objective: To serve God’s children with passion and love. Bringing awareness to the church and partnering organizations concerning the broken, abandoned and orphaned within our communities. She is committed to offering hope and salvation, to children and families in despair and in need of resources.
Tammy founded REACH Child Placing Agency in 2018. She partnered with local churches in Kaufman, Rockwall Hunt, Van Zandt and Dallas County to care for children and families in crisis. Tammy began recruiting and facilitating PRIDE training classes for Foster and Adoptive families. Tammy serves as the bridge and liaison between the Kaufman, Rockwall, Van Zandt, Hunt and Dallas Counties local Department of Family and Protective Services and the Christian families she serves.
Tammy is a current and active member of the Kaufman County Child Welfare Board and the Texas State Advisory Committee on Promoting Adoption of Minority Children educating community churches and leaders on adoption and dis-proportionality within their communities and engaging them on how to get involved with the initiative to promote adoption for our children in care. She has assisted with ACPAMC forums in El Paso, Lubbock, Dallas and San Antonio Texas.
Tammy’s dedication to serving Christ fuels her community –minded passion to take a holistic approach to serving God’s people. Tammy is married to Louis Pargoud a retired veteran of the United States Army and is the mother of 4 beautiful children Dre’Shaun, Shariecia, Vanessa & Chase.
